Thame is a historic market town situated in Oxfordshire, seven miles southwest of Aylesbury. The town has an attractive town centre with a blend of Georgian and Victorian architecture, combined with a number of historical buildings and architectural interests. An array of gardens and footpaths provide outstanding views which attract visitors and tourists. However, Thame's most famous attraction is undoubtedly its markets, which bring together an array of locally-sourced food produce and merchandise.
The town's two largest employers, CPM Group and Travelodge, both have their head offices on the edge of the town, although many residents choose to commute into the nearby High Wycombe, or London and Birmingham, via the M40 motorway. The town provides an attractive countryside location with access to the country's two major labour and consumer markets.
